Quit Asking . . .

Today I have decided to NOT post one of my long rants.
1 – it would take too long
2 – it would offend too many people who wouldn’t take the time to understand it.
Let’s just leave it at this: Quit telling me to like or type AMEN on something. I’m pretty sure God doesn’t have a Facebook account.
And for those of you who think “going to church” makes you somehow better, church is not something you go to, it is something that you have/do. (Matthew 18:20).
There are a LOT of people who “go to church” where God is not even welcome – but they feel better about themselves. They are so “enlightened” and “tolerant”. I call BS

Age Acquired Attention Deficit Disorder

With my new schedule I have 3 1/2 days of non-stop work followed by 3 days of trying to get everything done. (The other half day I usually lose to sleep).
So yesterday I decide to take advantage of the nice weather and wash my car. As I started toward to the garage, I noticed that there was mail on the hall table. I decided to go through the mail before I washed the car.
I laid my car keys down on the table, put the junk mail in the trash can under the table, and noticed that the trash can was full.
So, I decided to put the bills back on the table and take out the trash first, but then I thought that since I was going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash anyway, I might as well pay the bills first.
I took my checkbook off the table and saw that there is only one check left. My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I went to my desk where I find the can of Coke that I had been drinking. I’m going to look for my checks, but first I needed to push the Coke aside so that I didn’t accidentally knock it over.
I saw that the Coke was getting warm, and I decided I should put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.
As I headed toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter caught my eye–they need to be watered.
I set the Coke down on the counter and I discovered my glasses that I’ve been searching for all morning.
I decided I’d better put them back on my desk, but first I’m going to water the flowers.
I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water, and suddenly I spotted the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table.
I realized that later that night, when we go to watch TV, we will be looking for the remote, but nobody will remember that it’s on the kitchen table, so I decided to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I’ll water the flowers.
I splashed some water on the flowers, but most of it spilled on the floor. So, I sat the remote back down on the table, got some towels and wiped up the spill.
Then I headed down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.
At the end of the day; the car wasn’t washed, the bills weren’t paid, there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter, the flowers weren’t watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can’t find the remote, I can’t find my glasses, and I don’t remember what I did with the car keys.
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done, I’m really baffled because I know I was busy all day long and I’m really tired.
I realize this is a serious problem, and I’ll try to get some help for it.
But first I’ll check my e-mail.
